Metal reinforcements integrated into acrylic prostheses are unsightly, adding weight, volume and rigidity to the prosthesis. Modern architectural composite materials offer an undeniably effective alternative:
- A mesh integrated into the manufacturing process of an acrylic base offers very high protection against fracture without altering patient comfort (*).
